FietsParKeur (Dutch Bicycle Parking body)
The Lasso fulfils the requirements of the FietsParKeur standard for unguarded surroundings. FietsParKeur provides a high standard of quality regarding bicycle parking facilities. This level of quality was developed in co-operation with the Dutch Cyclists Association.
Bicycle types
Due to the frame locking system, the Lasso is suitable for bicycles with a frame dimension of between 53 and 61 mm, including amongst others city bikes, hybrid city bikes, race bikes and ATB bicycles.
Anti-theft facility
The Lasso is provided with an attachment loop made from steel (Ø 22 mm), to which bicycles can be locked. The attachment loop has a pass-through opening of 60 mm, making it suitable for most types of locks. Also the bicycle can also be attached to the frame locking system. This system is manufactured of hardened steel, which cannot be cut with saws because of the way it has been manufactured, meaning the operating button cannot be disassembled.
Material and finish
Steel, galvanised and coated.
The special frame holder is finished with a plastic cover, effectively preventing damage.
Colours
Almost all RAL colours can be delivered.
Operation
The Lasso is simple to use. By pushing the locking button outwards, the tube of the saddle frame can be positioned against the protective cover. Once the locking button has been screwed back in place, the frame holder can then be locked off. The lock can also be pulled through the steel loop of the Lasso. In both instances the bicycle is well protected.
